I am trying to run IssacSim, my laptop doesnt have a RTX GPU and I am renting a Linux VM. I have installed the Issacsim container successfully by following this tutorial: Container Installation — Omniverse IsaacSim
After installation the headless-container was run successfully confirmed with the message “Isaac Sim Headless Native App is loaded.” After which I tried to connect with the remote server using Omniverse Streaming Client but I keep getting unable to connect error. Please help me understand why I am unable to establish a connection. Thank you
The Omniverse Streaming Client does not work for remote connections. It is just a sample code that shows you the possibility of streaming kit content, but it was always designed for local networks. So machine A, talking to machine B in the same Enterprise Network. It does not work across the internet like that. For streaming from a VM, you would want to use their own streaming client. So for example if you are using AWS, they have their own solution.
