Omniverse wants too new a driver

I have

Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 3070/PCIe/SSE2
Graphics Card Memory: 8192 MB
OpenGL Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 460.39

but Omniverse demands 460.67. That’s not yet recommended by Ubuntu yet.
So I won’t be using Omniverse at this time. I’m not willing to risk using an unapproved driver, given the long history of NVidia driver problems under Linux. Sorry.

Launch create on POP OS linux

Hi Neil, that is likely to be one reason that it’s not working. Here’s something you can try: Find the shell script that actually launches Create (You can find the root directory by looking at “Settings” under the “burger menu” to the right of the Launch/Install button on the launcher). Inside that there should be a directory structure like _build/linux-x86_64/release, and inside a script called omni.create.sh run that script from a shell and append the argument --/rtx/verifyDriverVersion/en…
