Title Persistent 403 Access Denied on RMIR Download (rmir_asr__ofl:2.19.0) despite active Developer Subscription
Body “Hello, I am encountering a recurrent Client Error: 403 Response: Access Denied while running the riva_init.sh script to download the Riva RMIR models. I have exhausted all known troubleshooting steps.” “Environment and Context:
  • Riva Version: 2.19.0 (Quickstart)
  • Platform: WSL2 (Ubuntu) on x86_64 (Data Center architecture)
  • NGC Account Status: Active member of the NVIDIA Developer Program. I have accepted the Riva license terms.
  • API Key: A valid NGC API key is injected via the environment variable (NGC_CLI_API_KEY) and is recognized (docker login is successful).
"The exact error message from the terminal (failing on all 3 attempts):Client Error: 403 Response: Access Denied - Url: ``https://api.ngc.nvidia.com/v2/org/nvidia/team/riva/models/rmir_asr__ofl/versions/2.19.0"This error indicates that while my account is authenticated, it lacks the specific permission to download the core RMIR model resource (model: nvidia/riva/rmir_asr__ofl). Given that the Developer Subscription is active and the license is accepted, this suggests a server-side permission propagation issue.” “Could you please check the permissions on my account (associated with the email aharonhf@atide.tech) and ensure I have the necessary download authorization for the Riva RMIR models? Thank you for your assistance.”

Hi @aharonhf ,

Can you pls share your config file with us.

Also as a recommendation, I would suggest you to pls try out the Riva ASR NIM.

Thanks
