I am trying to generate a free NVIDIA NIM API key on build.nvidia.com for AI Agent development (OpenClaw framework), but I am stuck at the phone verification step.
Account Information:
- NVIDIA Account Email: 195527855@qq.com
- Phone Number: +86 15871354130
- Location Selected: China (+86)
- This is my very first attempt to create an account and verify the phone number. I have never used this number on NVIDIA before and have not received any OTP or made any previous requests.
Issue Details:
As soon as I enter the phone number and click to send OTP, I immediately receive this error (screenshot attached):
“This phone number has exceeded limits, please try a different phone number or try again later.”
I have already:
- Tried waiting 24+ hours
- Cleared browser cache and tried in incognito mode
- Tried different networks and devices
This seems to be a common false positive for new +86 numbers (many users reported the same issue recently). I am a legitimate developer and would really appreciate it if you could manually whitelist my account or reset the verification limit so I can generate the API key.
