Generally speaking, Quadro cards should be usable in desktop PCs. There are possible compatibility problems, e.g. relating to power supply, and also motherboard and system BIOS design. So no one can give you a guarantee except the OEM that builds the PC. Certainly if you buy a quadro in an OEM configured workstation, there should be no issue.
