Request for Assistance to Reinstall NVIDIA on Jetson Orin NX

Hello

I am facing an issue with my Jetson Orin NX device. While working on the system, I accidentally deleted the essential NVIDIA package, and since then, the device is no longer functioning properly.

I have attempted to reboot the device without success. I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Device details:

  • Device: Jetson Orin NX
  • JetPack Version: 5.1.2 (L4T 35.4.1)
  • Operating System: Ubuntu
  • CUDA: 11.4.315

I would be grateful for your prompt assistance, as I need to restore the device to continue with my project.

Is this a genuine NVidia Devkit? If the Carrier board is not from NVidia, then don’t ask here - ask the manufacturer of that carrier board. We can’t help you here.

If you have a NVidia Devkit:

  1. Get a PC with Ubuntu Linux 20.04. Yes, a physical PC, no virtual machine (won’t work), and exactly this Ubuntu Linux version running barematal on that PC.
  2. Get SDK Manager: SDK Manager | NVIDIA Developer
  3. Follow these instructions: Download and Run SDK Manager — SDK Manager 2.1.0 documentation
