Topic Description

Detailed Description

Hi, I am trying to assemble a robotiq gripper 2F-85 toward UR10e but the robot assembler’s drop down menu is empty and cannot do anything.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to the Isaac Sim Assets [Beta] to look for robots.
Note that the robot take a while to load every time, which did not happen in 4.5.0 and it is annoying.

  2. Load ur10e_physics.usd as Reference to the stage.

  3. Load the Robotiq_2F_85_edit as Reference to the stage.
Note that this step might freeze occasionally but not 100% reproducible.

  4. Enable Robot Assembler

  5. The drop down menus are empty, not able to proceed.

Additional Context

(Add any other context about the problem here)

I’m unable to reproduce this specific issue. To help me investigate, please provide the full log files.

In the meantime, you can try launching Isaac Sim with the --reset-user option. This command-line flag resets the user’s configuration and can sometimes resolve issues related to corrupted settings.

please carefully follow the instructions of either option on the “Connect the UR10e Robot with the Robotiq 2F-140 Gripper” page. This should allow you to successfully connect the gripper to the robot.
