Hello everybody, today I tried connect my new monitor to my laptop but it did not work. So I move to X11 session using KDE and works correctly.
I believe the problem is driver level because when I using X11 works but not using Wayland.

Thank you for reporting issue, could you please set nvidia-drm.modeset=1 in your kernel parameters and then check if external display gets detected or not.
If issue still persists, please attach nvidia bug report from repro state for triage purpose.
Yeah, using modeset HDMI output works perfectly , but after remove the HDMI screen connector RTD3 does not work nevermore and discrete card stuck on.

Hello @amrits, After several days of testing, I’ve noticed that when modeset is enabled with the kernel line you recommended, RTD3 starts to crash randomly. If I remove the line you suggested, RTD3 works correctly for days without shutting down the laptop.
