SDK Manager Not Authorised

Hey I’m using the SDK Manager 2.2.0.12028 version, but I am unable to access the SDK Manager. Each time I try to login, the error message is displayed that I have no authorisation. My account says that I am an active developer so I am not sure whats going on. I’m using Ubuntu 22.04 as well.

Hi there @zanexmendes, welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums.

Please make sure you have the latest version of SDK Manager installed and the correct one with respect to your operating system. It makes a difference for example whether you are on native Ubuntu or a VM.

There are several other topics like this on the Jetson forums (e.g. User is not authorized on NVIDIA developer server (docker) ) which were usually solved by following the above.

Thanks!

Hi thanks for the reply. I’m a bit new to all of this and as far as I can tell, the version of the SDK Manager that I have installed is suitable for Ubuntu, and I’m running this in VMware workstation player, per https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/Jetson-Mate/. I’ve used the latest .deb Ubuntu download from the website so I’m not entirely sure what else is required. I’ve attached a photo of the About section in the program to verify that I have the versions I’ve stated, is there anything you notice out of the ordinary?

Thanks

Sorry, I am not an expert on this, that is why I pointed you to the Jetson category where there might be people who have encountered this before.

But If I had to guess then the fact that you use a VM will have an influence. The authentication works through a web browser, so if that is not also running within the VM, authentication will likely fail.

All good, thanks for the help, I’ll ask again there. The login process is happening inside the VM, and the login claims to be successful however falls at the stage once the SDK Manager fully loads.
