SDKmanager : Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged

Hi Sir,

As the topic, I could run SDKManager normal before, but today occure an error as below,

$ sdkmanager
Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.

Even re-install SDK Manager is the same.
Need your help.

Does this prevent SDK Manager from running? Which Ubuntu release version is the host? Have you ever run this with sudo (if so the content needs to be deleted and reinstalled…password is requested while running as a regular user)?

I am having the same issue. Trying to install Jetson SDK 4.2.2

I get to step 2 and then the SDK freezes. on the terminal I have the same error.

How do I fix this?

I’ having the exact same issue. I’m trying to install JetPack 4.4 on an Jetson AGX and the sdkmanager crashes with this same message - ‘Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.’

I can then restart sdkmanager but it ends up crashing again with same error message.
