Hello NVIDIA Team,

My name is John Paulenich, and I am the President of UMD Loop, a competitive engineering team at the University of Maryland.

UMD Loop has represented the University of Maryland in several international engineering competitions - SpaceX Hyperloop and University Rover Challenge to name a couple. We are currently tackling the University Rover Challenge whilst designing a semi-autonomous rover and drone system that must be operated at a distance.

We have been exploring various compute options for our machine vision, object detection, and path planning requirements for the challenge and are very interested in the Jetson AGX and the Jetson NX platforms.

We are asking for NVIDIA’s support in sponsoring us with several Jetson development kits, financial support, or a combination of the two. This will enable us to experiment with NVIDIA compute solutions and build rapid prototype test benches of our different systems. We have sponsorship tiers for NVIDIA branding, technical engagement, recruitment visibility, and recognition. These can be met with a sponsorship and we would love to discuss this further.
