# mandatory section to configure the default power mode
< PM_CONFIG DEFAULT=0 >

It does not have the configuration of mode 2,3,4. So i can not switch to mode 2, 3, 4 by using the following instructions:

 sudo nvpmodel -m 2

problem is following:

NVPM ERROR: request for bad power mode 2
NVPM ERROR: optMask is 1, no request for power mode

How can i do ?

Hi,

Which jetpack release are you using? I can see 4 modes on my Jetson TX2.

jetpack5

TX2 does not support on jetpack5… what are you doing exactly…

Please do not do such thing on your TX2. It will just break the board…

So i just can use the mode 0 or mode 1 ? But i want to use mode 2 to reduce the consumption of energy

Can I directly modify the configuration file above to obtain the usage of mode 2 , mode 3 and mode 4

No, the point here is you should use jetpack4 but not jetpack5…

There is no software on jetpack5 that can fully support TX2…

ok,thanks!
