TX2 Development kit USB not working after Flashing jetpack

I have flashed my jetson TX2 with Jetpack 3.3. Now i can use the USB. USB worked with previous OS.
Im using default Development kit P2597 board.

can anyone help me with this?

What if you reinstall previous jetpack now? Will the usb still work?

Yes. But i need to install newer version on Jetpack.

Can i build jetpack manually by downloading these files. Check the URL please ( https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/linux-tegra ).

I was not just asking you “stay on the old jetpack release”.

What I want to know is whether this is a software issue or hardware issue. Currently, it sounds like a software problem.

You should provide the dmesg with error usb log inside.

Im trying to install https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/linux-tegra-r321 file system now. after extracting files apply_binaries.sh file returns

“The root filesystem, provided with this package,
has to be extracted with ‘sudo’ to this directory:”

this message

I extract JAX-TX2-Jetson_Linux_R32.1.0_aarch64 ‘without’ sudo and JAX-TX2-Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R32.1.0_aarch64 with 'sudo.

Can you help me with this please.

I would suggest you stop what you are doing now.

Just flash jetpack 3.3.3 share us the dmesg.

If you want to move to some release like rel-32, I would suggest directly try rel-32.5. No need to use old rel-32.1.

Also, if you want to prepare rootfs, it has to be run as root. That is why jetpack also asks your password because it needs to be as root for rootfs and flash too.

You can just use sdkmanager and it will download a prepared driver package for you. No need to stuck in preparing rootfs by yourself.

Can you tell what is “it” in your error? Where do you see this error? SDKM?

Also i refer this Cannot install SDK components topic as well.

I have internet connection on host machine (Ubuntu 16.04) and TX2 pluged into host machine via USB. also plugged a network cable to the TX2 from my router. (no blinking light on network adapter both router and tx2)

Can you just select the OS and flash option from sdkmanager and forget about sdk at this moment?
If this issue is related to usb, then flash the os and boot up should be sufficient.

Just select as below and go to continue, make sure board is in recovery mode.

If there is still error, go to your ~/.nvsdkm folder and attach the whole directory as a zip file here.
