Hi… i am trying to connect Tx2 to an x86 system throigh micro USB port on Tx2 using the original tx2 cable…after connecting i am not able to see Tx2 while listing usb devices on x86 system (lsusb command).

Does the x86 PC run Linux OS(Ubuntu 18.04)? It should work fine with 16.04 and 18.04. A window called L4T-README will pop up.
I suggest that you also monitor “dmesg --follow” to see logs, and then plug in the Jetson and show us what log occurred from the plug-in.
