TX2i and JetPack 4.2.2

Hi All,

I tried to install the latest JetPack 4.2.2 on evaluation board(for Jetson TX2).

I managed to install it and even passed the initial setting screens and I was able to see the latest Ubuntu 18.04 running.

The problem occurred, when I rebooted the system (HW power down).
After that, I can see a several reboot cycles (over serial debug port)
As for example:

[0003.987] I> tegrabl_load_kernel_and_dtb: Done
[0003.997] I> Kernel EP: 0x80800000, DTB: 0x80000000

U-Boot 2016.07-gd917e08cec (Aug 12 2019 - 21:16:16 -0700)

And then again, the whole boot process prints.

Is this a normal behavior for TX2i?

Does someone managed to work with TX2i with latest JetPack?
Maybe I need to use a proprietary evaluation board for TX2i?

It is more like the system hits some panic during boot up and then it reboots.

Please share the full boot up log with us.

I’m not sure, but it looks like I had an issue with SoM connector. I’m not an expert, but it’s looks like I had a problem with the physical HW connector. Since we had to remove the spacers and place the TX2i, it’s kind of hanging in the air on one side.
I “played” with SoM and right now, it is booting just fine.
I would like to think and to believe, that was an HW issue :-)
