Dear Nvidia experts,
We have camera that bought from other vendor with same hardware with Sony IMX390EVB-MLH-SMM* (Imx390 + Max9295A). We used nvsipl_camera sample to bringup this camera, the output console:

./nvsipl_camera -c IMX390RGGBE3_200FOV_RGGB_CPHY_x2 --link-enable-masks “0x0001 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000” -s
MAX96712: Revision 2 detected
MAX96712 Rev 2: Link 0: Tx amplitude 0x28, 0x68, 0xb3, 0x72, 0xd2
MAX96712 Rev 2 manual adaptation on the link 0 (31)
MAX9295: Revision 8 detected!
Unsupported IMX390 revision 15 detected! Supported revisions are:
IMX390 Rev 0
IMX390 Rev 1
IMX390 Rev 2
IMX390 Rev 3

I know this is only issue when check the sensor’s revision in driver, I did modify same line code with our AR0231 camera in OS 5.1.
Can you help me to resolve this issue?; because I do not have driver source code of Sony camera, our vendor not support driver.

This issue is same with IMX390 Rev 6.
Thanks you so much,
Hung

Hi @v.HungNV99 ,

We know this is an easy change if you got the driver source.
But I still need to get more information from you and check with internal team to understand how to support you appropriately.
Please let me know which IMX390 camera model you are using and why you don’t have sony contact (you mentioned in IMX390 Rev 6 - #18 by v.HungNV99).
Thanks.

Dear @VickNV ,
This is custom lens camera module (hardware same with Sony) from a our automative vendor (I am not sure I can tell the name of this vendor) and we only work directly with this vendor. We do not work with Sony, so I think they can not support us directly.
Thanks.

Because you are using a custom imx390 module and imx390 driver source isn’t part of DRIVE OS release, you cannot fix this by yourself. And our forum support doesn’t provide custom driver libraries for customers.
You may need to work with your camera software vendor or contact with your nvidia representative for further discussion.
