Unwanted Lidar Point Smearing in Isaac Sim 4.5.0

I am also experiencing the same issue. Has there been any progress or updates on this? Seems like this has been a persistent issue for several months.

As an aside, I have also written a node that subscribes to the partial point cloud messages and merges them as seen here: RTX Lidar drag points issue in debug view and full scan point cloud publishing - #7 by heiscsy.

However, this is a band aid solution that doesn’t address downstream services (e.g., using a point cloud as an observation in an Isaac Lab RL environment).
