Hi everybody, i have a problem with mi Jetson AGX, sometimes when it boots up it doesn’t recognize any port, lsusb command doesn’t show any device also usb-devices, I check the system with dmesg --follow command and unplug and then plug the device I try to connect but dmesg doesn’t show anything, it is like all the usb ports dissapeared. If I turn off and on the device the usb start working, I think it is a random event but it is no desired for my application, what could it be? Thanks.
You can share the dmesg when error happened.
My dmesg file looks like this but when the error happens none of these USB messages appears:

Please just share me the whole dmesg.
This is the dmesg, I am trying to reproduce the problem of the usb because it happens randomly.
dmesg.txt (75.3 KB)
Thanks
Finally, this is the dmesg when the AGX doesn’t recognize the usb, this happened after a shutdown and disconnection from electrical power.
dmesg_fail.txt (70.1 KB)
Thanks
Do you have any peripheral connected on the board that is using i2c? For example, the camera.
I use a Intel RealSense D455 as camera, from GPIO I use pin 16 as digital input (1 or 0), 18 and 37 (connected to a led) as digital output.
Can you remove those gpios and see if the issue is still there? According to your dmesg, the situation is somehow i2c is not able read the usb PD firmware and cause usb controller is not up.
Search ucsi keywords in the log will find out what I am talking about.
Hi, WayneWWW, I though it was resolved removing all GPIOS as you proposed, but today I lost Ethernet access, using ifconfig -a gives on eth0 interface a device interrup 41 message, AGX doesn’t have anything on GPIOS.
Trying cat /proc/interrupts gives:
41: 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 GICv2 226 Level ether_qos.common_irq
It’s a Xavier AGX 16GB, module P2888-0001, board P2822-0000 with Jetpack 4.5.1.
Thank you
