Using eDP 1.4 Embeded Display Port in addition or stand alone

I have the 4GB Jetson Nano
Case 1: I connect display 1 to board with a HDMI cable. Works great.
Case 2: I remove the HDMI cable from display 1 and connect to display 2. Works great.
Case 3: I remove HDMI cable completely. I connect display 1 to board with an HDMI/eDP cable. Doesn’t work.
Case 4: I remove HDMI cable completely. I connect display 2 to board with an HDMI/eDP cable. Doesn’t work.

HDMI/eDP cable is new. Not an issue.

Is there a configuration needed for the eDP port to work?
Is it possible to connect 2 displays to the Jetson nano in a split screen mode?

Thanks!

Does your “HDMI/eDP” cable mean a eDP to HDMI converter?

Its a cable with one end being an HDMI and the other being an eDP.

We don’t guarantee adapters would work fine on jetson.

I used a eDP/eDP cable from my MSI screen to the Jetson and it works fine.
I used an HDMI/HDMI from my WaveShare screen to the Jetson and it works fine.
I sent the eDP/HDMI connector cable back to Amazon.
I have both screens connected and running at same time and it works. A little challenging when the resolutions
are different but I can get it to work.
Issue can be closed. Thanks!
