Wayland, the bane of Linux

I’m a longtime Nvidia user, having owned several GeForces (220, then a 9800gt, and now a 960gx). I’m very satisfied with Nvidia products so far. However, not everything is rosy. I’m not complaining about my card, but about the end of support for Windows 10, the operating system I currently use. Well, I’m hereby urge you to maintain support for Xorg and especially its successor, Xlibre, as I’m considering migrating to Arch Linux (I chose this one because of its AUR, which has a little bit of everything and lets me install whatever I want on my machine. It’s unlike Ubuntu, which will remove Xorg in its next release, or Linux Mint, which, in addition to blocking Snap packages, requires users to install only verified Flatpak packages. Fedora, for that matter). And Wayland, which all the parrots repeat is “the future of Linux,” is actually its downfall, especially for me, who has an Nvidia card and intends to upgrade it in the future. Perhaps many people will migrate too, and that’s where the question arises: are you going to support this Wayland, which, besides being broken, is being imposed on the Linux world by RedHat. And to make matters worse, Wayland’s performance doesn’t even compare to Xorg. I’ve seen in communities that people are recommending AMD cards simply because they’re open source and work well with Wayland. Honestly speaking, the Linux world, which claims to be “free,” is actually becoming like Microsoft, where the creator of the Linux kernel has already made an obscene gesture to your company just because you don’t want to open source your drivers. Well, the drivers are your property, and you can do whatever you want with them. That’s freedom, but unfortunately, for many, Linux has become a religion. The control panel works well in Xorg, and games via Wine/Proton also work. Some games don’t work, unfortunately, but I’ve seen your efforts to ensure that Linux users can enjoy it just like Windows users. Continuing to invest in Wayland is shooting yourself in the foot, because if we have a mass migration, these people, the vast majority of whom are brainless and whose minds are based on some streamer, may possibly switch to AMD just because of these ignorant people. If possible, cut support for Wayland, as this piece of crap has been in development since 2008 and is still broken in several ways, as shown in the link below: Think twice about Wayland. It breaks everything! · GitHub Please forgive me if I expressed myself poorly, but the truth must be told. Long live freedom of choice, a word that the vast majority of the world yearns for and wants to live by… PS: Linux is for everyone, and everyone has the right to choose. Linux doesn’t belong to RedHat; it belongs to its users.

This is proof of Linux users’ refusal to face reality. They blame Nvidia, but Wayland, which is full of problems, doesn’t.
What kind of bubble are you living in? If this continues, my migration to Arch will be reconsidered, because I don’t want to live in a North Korean-like freedom, as some Linux users preach.
