- When will the Nvidia Web Drivers be released for macOS Mojave 10.14 -

Yes is True

Me too, I asked them for CUBA support and they kept silent then suddenly redirected me to our local Cuban embassy… See [THIS] post for their response.

oh man havn’t been back since page 1… in october lol – do you mean CUDA? :)

No, all the cool kids dig CUBA now. CUDA’s been deprecated since High Sierra.

Well, I will downgrade the system… I don’t care for this shit more.

not sure what the fuss is about this dark mode anymore… tried it again, and it does look cool dont get me wrong… but reading emails for instance is a pain, my eyes are burning after a couple of minutes

This sounds promising: Ahead of a modular Mac Pro, Apple said to ready a dedicated API for writing device drivers

Has anyone else read this: Video: Nvidia support was abandoned in macOS Mojave, and here's why | AppleInsider

It make it feel like a boxing match and people have to choose sides

I didn’t understand a single word.

it’s native driver man!

the topic name is “When will the Nvidia Web Drivers
be released for macOS Mojave 10.14”

Interesting. The GTX 780 TI isn’t listed as a supported card here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208898

I wonder if any other cards not listed will perform better on Mojave with native drivers?

Those tests are synthetic therefore useless. All benchmarks should be done in a real environment, like a game or a productivity app. And I don’t understand like 99% of powerg5’s gibberish.

Yes… This is mostly what is going on with the drivers. This is why i told everyone to go with AMD GPU if you want to run Mojove or 10.15 when it comes Sept/Oct of this year. There will be no support for Mojave. At this point this thread is dying down significantly and it is due to everyone waking up and realizing there will in fact be no support for Mojave or the coming 10.15.

New post I have been provided by NVIDIA Tech Support just now, in a lengthy chat about this:
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1042279/cuda-setup-and-installation/cuda-10-and-macos-10-14/post/5286813/#5286813

“NVIDIA is working with Apple to get Mojave to support CUDA.”

The post you linked is actually dated 09/28/2018, everybody has seen this :)

Krishna: Hi, my name is Krishna. How may I help you?
Derek Williams: Hi Krishna. May I refer you to this NIVIDA thread? https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1042520/drivers/-when-will-the-nvidia-web-drivers-be-released-for-macos-mojave-10-14-/post/5333072/#5333072
Krishna: Hello,
Krishna: Are you referring to the Mojave drivers for the mac?
Derek Williams: and here: Video: Nvidia support was abandoned in macOS Mojave, and here's why | AppleInsider
Derek Williams: yes
Krishna: if yes, wwe are working on it and do not have any estimated time of the release.
Derek Williams: The last announcement I saw was that NVIDIA had developed the Mojave drivers already, but Apple had not appoved them. Is that correct?
Derek Williams: Apple tell a different story.
Derek Williams: They say that the drivers are outwith their control.
Krishna: Presently we do not have the internal updates from the developer team about the licenses.
Krishna: But we know that the developers are working on it
Derek Williams: By “working on it” do you mean politically, or development of the drivers?
Krishna: yes
Krishna: Development of the drivers.

Can’t we just flashmob the support to force them to finally publish an official, up to date statement? I mean, at some point they just have to report to their superiors that they need something to officially and quickly refer to.

oh, i known what you mean.
that Apple can do it, they can write native driver for all nvidia GPU but … they don’t, they only make it for “mac edition” only.
hm…

so not webdriver for Mojave but WHY NOT WEBDRIVER 10.13.6 for new RTX card … LOL … something it wrong in here…

rocked wow.
