I am trying to debug a GPU crash on Linux. I am not interested in aftermath sdk augmentation of my program at this stage. Instead, I want to start with a crash dump. All of your documentation for how to get this says to use the nsight aftermath monitor (such as this page), but I can’t find this anywhere. I read that it’s supposed to be included in both the Aftermath SDK and Nsight downloads, but I do not see any executable binaries in the SDK tarball and after installing the .deb for Nsight I can’t find anything like the monitor either. Where is this monitor on Linux?
Hi duolingouser89,
Thank you for using Nsight Graphics and providing us with your feedback. The Aftermath SDK is just a SDK, the monitor can be found within the folder of Nsight Graphics, could you try to find the binary file named nv-aftermath-monitor
?
Please note, you need to install Nsight Graphics
, but not other tools with the same Nsight
prefix.
Thanks
