Will 3D Vision Kit 2 work with USB attachment only (no VESA connection) in linux?

Hey there,

So I was wondering if the 3D vision kit 2 works via USB only in linux. I was thinking of getting a lower end Quadro (K620), as it will more than suit my application, but it doesn’t have a 3-pin VESA outlet. Does this mean that it will not sync properly, or at all, with the 3D vision kit glasses in linux?

Thanks for your time, as I couldn’t not find anything to answer this anywhere online. Except for that fact that it will work if the monitor has an in built IR emitter (which mine does not).

cheers

The stereo sync cable is required.
