900-13448-0020-000 ver. 401, PCN211181 vs memory Micron D8CSC (MT53E512M32D1ZW-046 WT:B)

Hi,

I have 900-13448-0020-000 modules with two serial numbers:

  1. 1655224049905,3C6D6618D9F7,699-13448-0002-401
  2. 1655224049893,3C6D6618D9FC,699-13448-0002-401.

Is it possible for these modules to have Micron D8SCS memory (MT53E512M32D1ZW-046 WT:B), which was added according to PCN211181 to version 402?

All help is appreciated, thank you.

Dear Nvidia Team,
Could you please help me to clear up my doubts? My interpretation of PCN211181 is that if I have Micron D8SCS memory installed (MT53E512M32D1ZW-046 WT:B), then after reading the QR code there is no way it will show me in Serial Number version -401. Am I right?
I need this confirmation from the manufacturer right now.

I would be grateful for such support.

Module has Hynix DDR. PCN211181 does not apply to 699-13448-002-401.

Thank you.
So, if I have a module like in the attached photos and after scanning the QR code I get 1655224049893,3C6D6618D9FC,699-13448-0002-401, does that mean that something is wrong with this module and the QR marking, right?
Based on the PCB production date and the coded module assembly date, I should assume that I’m dealing with version 402.
Am I right or wrong?

Customers may receive mixed shipments, with 699 level part number versions less than, equal to or greater than 402. Your module seems to have Micron memory from the pictures. Please follow the PCN instructions

FBGA & part decoder | Micron Technology Inc.

Use this to decode the memory part number “D8CSC”. There is a typo in your original post title and the text in your comments.

Yes, please apply PCN211181 overlay package to verify if you are using Micron DRAM.

Yes, I have read PCN211181 and based on that I am trying to identify what version of the module I am actually dealing with. Please note that I am not touching on the aspect of any problem from the software side at all, that the module in version -401 has worked correctly for me so far and now I have a problem with version -402. I am not focusing on that here; it is described in PCN what should be done from the software side and the JetPack version update.

My problem is that after scanning the QR code of a specific module, Serial Number shows that I have version -401, and after turning the module over and verifying the memory chip I see D8CSC, which was supposed to be installed from version -402 and higher.

Hence my post on the forum in general. I wanted to confirm here that it is not possible for a module with Micron D8CSC memory to receive information after scanning the QR about version -401 (according to PCN211181 it is impossible).
My company received many such modules from the supplier and we are now clarifying this.
My task is to firmly confirm with the manufacturer NVIDIA that such cases do not exist if we are talking about original parts from the manufacturer.

Yes, I used this decoder and copied the MPN I received from it to the title and my post.
Are you sure I made a typo?
I compared your screenshot after decoding with my post and I see the same MPN MT53E512M32D1ZW-046 WT:B.
Unless you were kind enough to moderate my post and I don’t see a trace of your modification.

I did correct typo in the post title. However, you can see your typo in your first comment.

Now I see, you meant D8CSC code and not MPN, absolutely agree. Thanks for the correction :)
