The USB type-C connector(10 - J40) is having OTG support? This OTG is required for flashing?

  1. Yes, this one has OTG support.

  2. It is not totally correct to say “OTG is required for flashing”. Flashing requires recovery mode and recovery mode is actually a hardware event. You use the button to enter recovery mode. It is not fully equal to OTG.

OTG used the pin on the usb device to tell whether it is host mode or device mode but recovery mode uses the button the trigger the port into device mode.
