Adding standalone PhysX extensions to a Kit app

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to add some of the standalone extensions described in the documentation Physics Core — Omniverse Extensions latest documentation (nvidia.com) to a vanilla Kit app without using Isaac Sim as a base app.

I am mainly interested in adding omni.physx.fabric and optionally omni.physics.tensors to a Kit app at this time, but I don’t need the whole set of extensions which come with the Isaac Sim package. I did a search on the Extensions (Window ->Extensions), but I can see the following extensions only

  • omni.physx.stageupdate
  • omni.physx.cooking
  • omni.physx
  • omni.physx.foundation
  • omni.usd.schema.physx

Do you have any suggestions on this?

Update: I am using Kit 106.0.2

Yes you should be able to do that once the full PhysX bundle is published to the new 106 registry. We are still in the process of doing that. You will find them all, once they are all published in the new few weeks. Sorry for the delay.
