AGX Orin Dev Kit with JetPack 5.0.2 Display Issue

I am wondering if anyone occurs a similar display issue.

We just flashed AGX Orin Dev Kit with JetPack 5.0.2. We can see the Ubuntu installation screen and finish the installation steps.

However, when we tried to boot into Ubuntu OS, we could see a huge NVIDIA logo, then some “UEFI” related text on it. Finally, the screen turns black.

We are connecting the display with the DisplayPort on AGX Orin Dev Kit. And this issue only happens on JetPack 5.0.2, not JetPack 5.0.1.

We would be very grateful if you could share some feedback or experience.

You will probably need to post a serial console boot log. This works even when much of the operating system (and especially, graphics) fails.

There is some post here: https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/jetson-agx-orin-will-not-start-when-the-monitor-is-power-on/216108 with a similar issue, even thought on another JetPack 5.x. Maybe you can read it to see if there is something useful for you.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I was jumping between JP 5.0.1 and JP 5.0.2 to compare the difference. Although JP 5.0.1 works smoothly, I somehow can’t finish the Ubunutu installation steps in JP 5.0.2.

JP 5.0.2 + Dev Kit stucks here

Then I found “JP 5.0.2 Runtime” seems working well.

Let me do a bit more experience.
