Any word yet? I’m dying without CUDA over here :(
Hopefully they are up today.

I am finding this extremely disappointing to say the least. The Snow Leopard Graphics update was released almost a week ago now and still no CUDA update available after being told they were “pushing” one out in 24 hrs. Not to mention that the 300M series still aren’t listed as supported in the driver downloads section for OS X. Will they ever be? I am starting to question my purchase of the new MBP due to NVIDIA’s seeming lack of concern/promptness for dealing with Apple related issues.

This is annoying. Unless I’m misunderstanding, I now either have to dismiss (or ignore) the window informing me that a CUDA driver update is required, until such time as the required update is ready. Is it just me, or is there some flawed logic here? Please either
- don’t tell me about this until the update is ready (or)
- at least give me the option to never see this message again, at least until such time as the update is indeed ready
If the reasoning is that we need to know that there is an update required (do we really need to know this?) anyway, if this is the reasoning, then can we have number (2) above?
Thank you,
Pete Stevenson

to disable naggy startup cuda message you can delete file /Library/LaunchAgents/com.nvidia.CUDASoftwareUpdate.plist

Thank you!! However, as a friendly comment, I still take issue with the fact that it is naggy. I shouldn’t have to hack around with deleting files to get desired / expected behavior at the gui level…

Good news. The driver is out and available on the Nvidia update drivers page. The number is 3.1.14.

Sorry for yet another mess, we’re making more changes to this process to reduce the turnaround time.

Could those changes include ever addressing the 64-bit issue?
