Is it possible to attach a deformable body to a robot imported from Onshape? I attached an image of my current setup. I tried to create an attachment between the rigid and deformable part but it does not behave well. The deformable part moves with the rigid part, but floats well above it (see the 2nd image). I was forced to use the FingerHolderRightSimplified Xform because I couldn’t select the mesh (it was greyed out). Is there a work around for this?

Hi, I meet the same problem. I attach a deformable body to a rigid articulation robot, and it works in the isaac sim. However when I save it as a USD file and load it as an articulation robot by python, the attached deformable body doesnot move with the rigid robot. Do you already solve the problem? I am wondering whether it is feasible or not in the isaac at present.
No I didn’t. To be honest, I never got the deformable-rigid attachments working either. Upon further inspection, we seemed to determine that the deformable bodies may not be physically accurate enough for our purposes. We’ve started using pseudo rigid bodies instead as they seem to be more accurate for our application. Sorry I couldn’t bee more help
Thanks. The pseudo rigid bodies are rigid bodies with compliant stifffness, this approach may have problems if the objects are diverse.
