Auto detecting monitor plugged or un-plugged

Hi Nvidia:
We are using a custom board + AGX Orin 64GB + Jetpack 6.0 GA.
In our design, we use a MST board to seperate one DP output to 2 DP output. One of them connected to a touch screen.
However, once we unplug the cable and re-plug it, the touch is always being mapped to the wrong monitor.

We were thinking about using things like udev to detect if the monitor being plugged/unplugged, but we can’t find documentation about it.

Please help.

There is no method can do this in kernel on any Orin platform.
