Auvidea J120 with JetPack 4.2

I’m using a TX2 on a Auvidea J120 carrier board. They provide a board support package for JetPack 3.3. Has anyone succeeded in getting JetPack 4.2 working on it, or am I at the mercy of their slowness?

Hi wuxiekeji,

They need to provide the corresponding BSP for it, please contact with Auvidea team.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know any working solution how we could use the latest Jetpack 4.2 along with the Auvidea carrier boards? U have already opened a ticket to Auvidea support team but still waiting for response on that major problem. Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Ethan

I opened a ticket as well. The response I got was “We are indeed planning on supporting Jetpack 4.2 and our software developer is already on the case, but currently, he has no clear estimate on how long it will take for it to be done.”

Probably not buying anything from Auvidea again. If they don’t have a time estimate the least they could do is open source their kernel images so the community could help them instead of having a bunch of brick TX2’s at the mercy of their slowness.

Hi wuxiekeji,

Our opinion about the support service of Auvidea is the same as yours. Hope this time they are going to do something different.

Thank you and have a great!

Ethan

Hi wuxiekeji,

Auvidea released support for Jetpack 4.2 for their TX2 carrier boards. Have you tested it with your configuration?
