Cannot update Zedbox to Jetpack 6.2 - Device failed to boot to the initrd flash kernel

We have 3 x Zedbox with the Jetson™ Orin NX 16GB. I am trying to upgrade them to Jetpack 6.2 from the factory installed version 5 using a computer running Ubuntu 22.04. I managed to upgrade 1 after retrying, but cannot upgrade the other 2. I get the same error every time:

Timeout Device failed to boot to the initrd flash kernel. Please retrive the serial log during flashing to debug further.

I have confirmed that the they are in recovery mode.

I am using the script from Stereolabs: https://download.stereolabs.com/scripts/zedbox_all_usb_flash_6.2.sh

It is very frustrating that it worked once, but not any of the other times…Especially since it takes such a long time to get to the error.

  1. Is there any other way to perform the upgrade?
  2. Is there any other steps that I need to take?
  3. How do I retrieve the serial logs?

I have attached the logs that I found on my computer’s drive.

Thanks!

Hi,

To record the serial logs, please refer to the below link:

Since you are using the custom board, please reach out the vendor to get related info.

Thanks
