I am currently running Arch Linux and I have the nvidia package installed which is using 364.16. My graphics card is an Nvidia GTX 970 from EVGA.
I cannot get my monitor to wake back up upon putting the computer into standby. Linux is very clearly being woken up, because I can switch tty’s and log in blindly to reboot my system. Rebooting my system allows linux to recognize the monitor again, but I would like to know why this is the case and if it is possible to work around this without changing my output method. I would give you guys a logfile if possible, but based on how it seems the logging works, I can’t get into my system to start the logging process after the issue has occurred.
Let me know what else I can do to be of help.
EDIT: I went ahead and ran the bug-report script anyway, but I hadn’t recently experienced the issue(because I’ve been avoiding it).
