Edit:
I did see the bug report logs on other posts, but it took me a sec to figure out where and how:

First time making a post to Nvidia. Unsure of what to include/exclude from the submitted bug report.
I am using a Geforce GTX 1080 ti with a dummy HDMI plug for a server. When I was on a Bazzite image that had the 575.64.05 driver, it worked perfectly. When I updated to an image with a newer driver, 580.76.05, the resolution choices became limited compared to what was available before. The dummy HDMI plug is capable of resolutions from 720p to 4k, but with the new drivers, resolutions around 1080p are not available.
I created an issue on the distribution’s Github, and it was determined to be an upstream issue with the Nvidia drivers as more people reported similar problems. Dummy HDMI plug limited resolution choices after update · Issue #3229 · ublue-os/bazzite · GitHub
People chimed in with their hardware: RTX 3060, RTX 3070, RTX 4070 and applied to VMs and monitors in addition to my use-case.
This is an example of the expected behavior. Resolutions from 720p, 1080p, 2k, and 4k are available.
When updated to newer drivers, the resolutions available is reduced, resolutions around 1080p are not available.
