Failing to upgrade ConnectX7 NIC

I’m trying to upgrade a ConnectX7 NIC to the latest firmware, however it is not working as expected:

# flint -d 41:00.0 -i fw-ConnectX7-rel-28_36_2024-MCX755206AS-NEA_Ax-UEFI-14.29.14-FlexBoot-3.6.901.signed.bin --no_fw_ctrl b
-E- Burning encrypted image on non-encrypted device is not allowed.

# flint -d 41:00.0 q
Image type: FS4

This should be very early firmware version of CX7.

You can try update to 28.35.xxxx (ie. 28.35.1012/2000) first then update to 28.36.xxxx

That doesn’t work. Even trying to burn the same firmware 28.34.4000 from your website does not work.
It seems the card only accepts unsigned firmware images, but all images on your website are signed.
Any way around this?
