Hi, I would like to ask is there any method or tools to update the firmware of the transceiver/cable inserted on the Nvidia Switch or ConnectX7 NIC card? Thanks

Thank you for posting your query on NVIDIA Community.

In general, updating the cable/transceiver firmware(FW) is not usual and in most scenarios not needed. The LinkX FW upgrade should be done only in cases where there are critical bugs that need FW upgrade (usually determined upon escalation & suggested from engineering upon analysis and/or debugging).

The cables assembly can differ and have different FW releases per assembly.

There are limited transceiver FW available for download, however, a valid support entitlement is needed to escalate internally to determine the reason/need for upgrade.
