I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 on an Intel I7 with a Quadro 410. The last version of the Nvidia driver with no trouble was 331.89. On all of 343.22, 340.24, and 340.46. I get flashing in various window (thunderbird, chrome, terminals, etc) from time to time. I can generally get the flashing to stop by switching focus to another window and back again.
