please help. I have no idea how to fix this. I tried to remove kafka and librdkafka with everything and reinstall, but still receiving same errors.

Please check whether the broker library is installed correctly. You may try c/c++ deepstream-test4 first. C/C++ Sample Apps Source Details — DeepStream 5.1 Release documentation

I have tried to reinstall all Gstreamer and librdkafka libraries but still getting the same error. Aren’t these examples the same as the python examples anyway, ie the ones I tried? by the way, I’m using deepstream 6.2, I’ve updated the content of my post to express this information.

Can the c/c++ deepstream-test4 works on your device?

no. neither deepstream/sources/apps/sample_apps/test-4 nor deepstream-6.2/sources/apps/sample_apps/test-4 doesn’t work. Also deepstream/reference_graphs/test-4 and deepstream-6.2/reference_graphs/test-4 doesnt’t work. I tried to reinstall graph composer & deepstream & gstreamer and tried to run different kafka brokers but it doesn’t working.

Have followed the /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/sources/apps/sample_apps/deepstream-test4/README to prepare the eviroment? How did you make sure the Kafka server has been configured correctly?

Isn’t librdkafka appropriate to out-of-the box usage? I didn’t see that readme file before, tried to follow it but i am not sure i did it correctly, it didnt worked. Before that i had tried to create my own topics and brokers and use the conn-string with it (my consumers and producers can communicate with each other successfully). It is very complex process, isn’t there an easier way?

For how to configure and check the Kafka server, please refer to Kafka document. Apache Kafka. It is an open source platform. Please consult Kafka community for your questions about the Kafka server.

DeepStream just follow the Kafka APIs.

Resolved.

Just created test-topic ( ./bin/kafka-topics.sh --bootstrap-server localhost:9092 --partitions 10 --replication-factor 1 --create --topic test-topic )

and take that metadata with ./bin/kafka-console-consumer.sh --bootstrap-server localhost:9092 --topic test-topic < /home/jklsjdflj/Desktop/cikti.json

Bu i think installing libraries referenced in /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/sources/apps/sample_apps/deepstream-test4/README helped.
