NoMachine does indeed hook in to the server, but from what I know (and I could be wrong, I don’t use NoMachine) this requires a modified server on the Jetson itself. However, the timestamp on that file is apparently from right about now (are you or the Jetson are in an Eastern Standard Time zone?). So this is likely the correct server and log if you combine it with the $DISPLAY
.
However, it is still possible that your client on the remote PC is able to run at a higher or lower resolution. The earlier log does show the NVIDIA module loading, so it seems the server is running correctly.
Does NoMachine have any documentation on setting resolution? What I find most interesting is that your xorg.conf has the “ModeDebug” which @Honey_Patouceul asked for, but the log does not show the mode pool. It is as if the server log is not from the xorg.conf
with the ModeDebug
in it. @Honey_Patouceul gave a URL for NoMachine configuration, which I have not read, but I am wondering if there is anything there about the location of xorg.conf
, such that it might be ignoring the config file and really using some other config file in another location.
