Initial Boot with my Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit

Hello Everyone,

I couldn’t able to connect to my Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit. I followed the same steps in this site Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit Getting Started | NVIDIA Developer

Then in the Setup and First Boot step

After that screen i’m lost. The Dev kit is not responding from there. then the desktop is showing the connection lost or no signal.

I don’t know whats going on. Today, i formatted the sd card with the jp60-orin-nano-sd-card-image.zip file with the same steps which i followed earlier then i reinstalled the sd card into the dev kit. then also i got the same image from there the signal lost.

Can someone help me how to connect with my Macbook pro M1 2020.

Thanks!

Did you flash the SD card with JetPack 5.1.3 image?

With the factory firmware (3.0-32616947), you first need to update the firmware (first to 5.0 then to 36.3) in order to use the JetPack 6.0 SD card.

Please check the instruction on this page (🚅 Initial Setup Guide - Jeton Orin Nano 🆕 - NVIDIA Jetson AI Lab), and follow Step 2 to 5.

I haven’t installed any other versions of JetPack. From start i am using the JetPack 6 which is jp60-orin-nano-sd-card-image.zip. This is my first time of using the NVIDIA JETSON ORIN NANO DEV KIT. So, i’m confused.

The process should be you need to put jetpack5.1.3 sdcard image to your board first.

After boot up, please do not power off the board. Put it there for a while and let it upgrade the UEFI in background.
