I want to use nv-nsight-cu-cli to profile programs, but I can’t find it on device.
So is nv-nsight-cu-cli available on DRIVE AGX ORIN?

Can you use remote profiling from host using nsight? Do you see any issue?

So, fisrt, I want to double check that you have already verified remote profiling, right?
Second, could u plz share me some tutorials on remote profiling?

@SivaRamaKrishnaNV They are all about nsys. I can run nsys on Orin, but I need Nsight Compute now.

May I know why you are specific to use Nsight compute. Please see if User Guide :: Nsight Systems Documentation helps to profile GPU

@SivaRamaKrishnaNV I have already read the user guide for nsys. But I think nsys is not enough. Since Nsight Systems and Nsight Compute split system-level application analysis and individual CUDA kernel-level profiling into separate tools.
Take some reasons I need Night Compute for example:

  1. want to know the usage rate of SMs
  2. want to get cache miss rate
  3. deep analysis of a kernel, not the overall profile of the whole program

Got it. The tool is not available on target. Did you try remote profiling using nsight compute from host? Please check Nsight Compute :: Nsight Compute Documentation if it helps?
