Issue with USB when flashing M.2 NVME SSD of Jetson NX from Ubuntu 18.04 VM

Dear all,

While flashing my Jetson NX using Jetson Hacks script, USB will disconnect and reconnect multiple times during a flash process. And finally, there is the output message “No devices to flash”. Could you please help me to solve this issue? I’ve tried to plug and unplug. It did no help.

We don’t support any tool running on VM. Please find a native x64 ubuntu host for flashing.

Hi Wayne, thanks for your reply, really appreciate that. I was able to implement it using enabling usb filter in VirtualBox. Also, I guess in Vmware it will be stable. Thanks anyway.
