Hi,how to download 4.2 ? The web shows it still is 4.1.1

Hi zidoumeng,

JetPack4.2 is ready now, please use the new NVIDIA SDK Manager to install JetPack.

Thanks

Hi kayccc,

I plan to flash jetson tx2, just installed the SDK manager and logined, but it shows me that there’s no any sdk for me.

This is the information showed to me:

OOPS!
No SDKs are available for your account
Verify that your NVIDIA account is registered to the correct development program on developer.nvidia.com.
RETRY

Thanks in advance.

Problem fixed.

I registered a new account which worked for me. But I don’t know why the previous account doesn’t have the privilege to access jetson sdk.

Sorry for the spam.

Got the same problem when started SDKManager

OOPS!
No SDKs are available for your account
Verify that your NVIDIA account is registered to the correct development program on developer.nvidia.com.
RETRY

Register a new account, but the sdkmanager is always trying to log in using the old account ID and password. How to change the entries, or uninstall?

Hi ,installed SDKmanager & all terms, when flash TX2 ,there are errors :
Flash Jetson tx2Lcommand terminated witn error .
i tried three times.and couldnot find any help from sdk document.

Hi zidoumeng, please post a new topic about this on the Jetson TX2 forum along with the error log, please.

Hi tmx3, can you say what program IDs are listed in the “user-name menu item” --> “membership programs” dialog?

We are currently working to resolve a potential issue with our China CDN that may be affecting the login, so please hold tight.

The new sdkmanager looks amazing! Way better looking than the original jetpack!

NVIDIA DEVELOPER PROGRAME with ID 874688. Thanks for your quick efforts to solve this problem!

Hi 93339475, we have received reports that the issue should be fixed now for China users, other users in the region have been able to use SDK Manager now. Can you try again and see if the issue is resolved? If not, please let us know. Thanks!

Hi there

Apologies if im not in the correct forum, if im not please take me out of this forum and place me in the correct forum.

Im new to single board computers and still learning.
I know SBC’s require an “image” to load at startup / when turned on.
My reason for buying a SBC is to play console, arcade games, watch utube, netflics, listen to mp3’s and browse the internet.
Are there any images available for Jetson Nano that will allow me to do this?
From what i understand the emulators for playing roms are integrated in the image but can be updated when new versions are released.
KODI has to be installed after the image have been installed from what i understand.

I appreciate any information,

Thank you for reading.

The default for the Jetson Nano is Linux (specifically, Ubuntu 18.04). Most of the software which can be downloaded from official Ubuntu servers will run on the Nano, although not all. Some software available only as a binary package or only for a desktop PC architecture won’t run on a Nano without porting to the arm64/aarch64/ARMv8-a architecture.

Kodi should work, but I haven’t tried it. I’ve seen it work in the past on other Jetsons. You might find emulators problematic because the emulator itself would have to work on this architecture, but I think most emulators run on a desktop PC architecture.

You can probably watch many movies and videos, especially youtube. I don’t know if Netflix or some of the other things you list might require something the Jetson lacks. Basically I suspect you just need to try it and find out since many different media use different CODECs even if the file name format is the same.
