I tried to boot my Xavier NX from an sd card with 5.1.4, and I got the error: Failed to start End-user configuration after initial OEM installation.
Any suggestions? I previously used a boot sd card with Jetpack 5.0.1, I think.
Added: I tried running the sdkmanager on an external host, and to my surprise it recognized the XNX as having a broken Jetpack 5.1.4 installation, and offered to repair it. I tried that several times, and it did not work. I was eventually able to uninstall 5.1.4 and install Jetpack 6.0 DP rev2! What’s the deal with that? I thought that Jetpack 6.0 was now in full release, and not supporting the Xavier NX. Is there going to be a full release for the Xavier NX? Will I be able to run Jetson Platform Services and all the other 6.0 goodies?
I feel this story is as weird as you think. Xavier NX is not able to run on Jetpack6.0.
As your comment sounds like you are actually a newbie to sdkmanager, I would suggest you can just try to flash the board again with uart serial console log enabled. (below page for reference)
You are right, I am an sdkmanager newbie. I thought that I would have to put the Xavier NX in recovery mode, and I don’t even know how to do that. Now that I have Jetpack6 running, wouldn’t I rather keep it than go back to 5.1.4?
Except it is not really Jetpack 6.0. Running hostnamectl says it is Ubuntu 20.04, Linux 5.10.216-tegra. /etc/nv_tegra_release says it is R35. Running sudo apt-cache show nvidia-jetpack says it is version 5.1.4-b17.
