Jetson AGX Failed to start configure USB flashing port for device mode

SDK Jetpack 4.6.1

Encountered a very strange situation!
Now I can start the operation normally after re-flashing…
But after rebooting the error appears …
Using a previously saved version will also have the same problem,

The kernel log after the first burn is successful
20220825_kernel_1_boot.log (81.8 KB)

An error occurred after pressing reset to reboot
20220825_kernel_2_boot.log (71.1 KB)

I see other people’s situation is not the same as mine

I am sure that the version that has been tested before and no problem will still be the same

Do you have any suggestions please???

Hi,
Not understand the issue well enough. Please share the steps one-by-one. What steps are execute after flashing Xavier.

Do nothing after flashing Xavier… just execute “reboot”

Hi,
We don’t observe the issue. Can see Xavier enters device mode and L4T-README pops up in host PC(Ubuntu 18.04). Could you try other version such as 4.6 or 4.6.2?

Now my HOST PC uses “Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS”
Haven’t had this problem before using “Ubuntu 18.04.”

Jetpack 4.6.1 can work with Ubuntu 18.04 host, not on Ubuntu 20.04 host.
JetPack 5.x can work on both but better to use Ubuntu 20.04 host.
