Jetson AGX Xavier Encode / Decode supported profiles

Hi,

We are currently working on a project that will be based on the AGX Xavier. I have been reviewing the technical documentation available and checking for the supported H265 (HEVC) encoding / decoding profiles.

As per described in the latest revision of the datasheet for the Xavier, it seems that Main and Main10 are the platform’s supported profiles. However, I have found some early non-NVIDIA’s commercial use documentation with some references to the Xavier supporting 12-bit Main 12 profile.

Just wanted to have some confirmation of what it is described in the datasheet (page 13-14).

Hi,
On Xavier, we support up to 10-bit in video encoding/decoding. Please share where you see the information. It looks not right and we may need to correct it if it is officially from NVIDIA.

The existing implementation is YUV420 10-bit H265 encoding/decoding.

12 bit support? Encoder - what are the real specs?
