Jetson module integration into costum hardware

Hello team,

We have developed object detection on the Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit and we are currently discussing integrating the Jetson into another hardware. The Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit has two parts, the carrier board and the module. My focus is currently on the module.

The module is the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module. Should be this one P3767-0003. On board is a Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and a Ampere GPU. My focus is on the GPU. Which GPU is specifically installed on the board ?

The plan would be to integrate the GPU, CPU and RAM onto our own hardware. Do you provide the hardware schematics and layout for the module and the carrier board somewhere ? I haven’t been able to find these yet.

Regards

We don’t provide the hardware schematic for the module.

The only thing you can customize is the carrier board itself. We have the document for the carrier board only.

If you customize the module, then it won’t have the warranty anymore.

Look. This is an Orin NX 16G module. Orin Nano looks basically the same.

You see the huge processor chip that contains basically everything and the two RAM chips on either side. The backside is mostly populated with passives and some minor ICs.

You are supposed to use the module like a big ic. They won’t sell you the main chip, and it wouldn’t help you much. You can’t change anything on that module anyways.

I had this look at the module recently @fchkjwlsq Thanks.

Well, I do not want to change anything on the module. My idea was to integrate and adapt every component (RAM/GPU/…) into my own hardware (just as is possible with other manufacturers). But okay, if I’m supposed to use this module like an IC and I can’t buy the GPU anyway, then I have to accept that.

@WayneWWW Where can I find documents about the carrier board and the carrier board interface description to the module ?

Please take a look at the download center
