Jetson nano initial boot password happedned without me setting up the password

the initial bott happened very quickly without me setting up anything and since then it’s asking me for a password that I did not setup. the username is jetson but I have no idea about the password, I reflshed the card with the image but when I attach it I see the same logic page

Hi,

  1. Are you flashing the Jetson using the SDK Manager or performing a manual flash?
  2. If you are using the SDK Manager, it includes a preconfiguration option to set up the account and password.
  3. If you are flashing manually, please run l4t_create_default_user.sh first before proceeding with the flash.
  4. What is your Ubuntu Version?
  5. Is your Ubuntu running on physical machine or the virtualmachine?

Thanks

Hello, I am performing a manual flash. Where to find this script “l4t_create_default_user.sh” since none of the resources I went through mentioned this script. Also where and when to run this script.
It would be helpful if you could provide the link for the steps.
Also, the image I have used is the "Jetson Nano Developer Kit SD Card Image "

Hi,

The script l4t_create_default_user.sh is located at Linux_for_Tegra/tools/l4t_create_default_user.sh.
You can refer to this Quick Start Guide to manually flash the device. The provided link is for JetPack 4.6.5, but you can find a similar guide for your specific JetPack version to complete the installation.

Thanks
