Jetson nano-io-BASE-A is not booting

Hi Jetson Nano Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am facing regarding my Jetson Nano board. Despite following all the steps mentioned in the Jetson Nano portal, I am unable to get my board to boot successfully.

After powering up the Jetson Nano board, the RED LED light turns on, and the screen displays a continuous booting message. However, the board does not proceed beyond this stage. I have attached screenshots of the booting process for your reference.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could review the provided information and provide guidance on resolving this issue. Your expertise and support would be invaluable in getting my Jetson Nano board up and running smoothly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,

Mohan T

is it an official DevKit from NVIDIA, or are you using a third-party carrier board?
Have you tried to re-flash it?
What can you get from UART log?

Hello Dave,

Thank you for your prompt response and the valuable information provided.

To address your questions:

  1. No, we are not using a 3rd party carrier board. We are directly connecting the Jetson Nano module to our custom hardware.
  2. No, I have not attempted to reflash the board yet. I wanted to gather more information and seek guidance before proceeding with any further steps.
  3. Regarding the UART log, I did not receive any output. The log displayed a blank page, indicating no information was being transmitted.

I hope this information helps in diagnosing the issue. Please let me know if there are any specific steps or troubleshooting techniques you recommend to further investigate the booting problem.

Thank you once again for your assistance.

Best regards,
Mohan T

I’d suggest you first re-flash the device, and please remember to use SDK Manager or flashing scripts provided in our BSP, not the SD card image.

Can you please share the link of that script, and procedure, then we can able solve this very easily.

Best regards,
Mohan T

you can download the BSP here:

, and follow our developer guide to flash your device:
