Jetson Orin Nano compatibility with IMX477 sensor (won't turn on when the sensor is attached)

Hi there,
I am working with an Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano along with an IMX477 camera sensor from Arducam, here is the camera: IMX477 (High Quality Camera) for Jetson Nano and Xavier NX - Arducam).

When the camera sensor is attached to the Orin Nano, it won’t turn on. In attempting, it’s plugged in through the POE backpower, then the power LED lights for a split second then off with board being 100% off with 0 power draw.

However, when we remove the cable or remove the camera from the cable and the board powers on fine.

I understand that the IMX477 sensor from Arducam isn’t on the list of supported cameras here: Jetson Partner Supported Cameras | NVIDIA Developer however, we were using it previously with the Nvidia Jetson Nano without issue, and Arducam very publicly advertise compatibility with the Jetson series.

Any help or advice would be really appreciated here to get it working with the IMX477 sensor.

Also note that we are using the Jetpack 5.1.1 image.

Thanks
Tim

Hi,
Arducam has not released the IMX477 camera driver for Jetson Orin Nano so far. Please be patient and we will publish it as soon as possible.
